I’m sorry for being mean, shouting and swearing. You deserved patience and respect from me, especially in the moments when I was frustrated. I’m writing these down so I properly own the hurt I caused.

An apology only matters if it comes with changed behaviour. I will practise pausing, listening, speaking respectfully and giving you room when you need it. You should feel loved by my actions as well as my words.
